Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and us, the independent developer of Oviqen. By installing or using Oviqen you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. A public beta
Oviqen is in public beta and free to use. Features may change, appear or go away, and you may meet bugs. Please keep your own copies of important work — the app can export your workspace at any time.
2. Your account
You need a free account to use Oviqen. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Your content is yours
Your notes, tasks, diagrams and files belong to you and are stored on your computer. We claim no rights over them. You are responsible for what you create and for keeping backups.
4. The AI assistant
The assistant can create, change and — after asking you — delete items in your workspace. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete; review them before you rely on them.
When you use your own API key, your use of that provider is between you and the provider: its terms, limits and charges apply, and you are responsible for them. Oviqen's own AI, when offered, comes with the limits of your plan.
5. Fair use
Do not use Oviqen to break the law, to harm others, or to:
- try to reach other people's accounts or data;
- overload, attack or get around the limits of our server;
- copy, resell or redistribute the app as your own.
6. Your licence to use Oviqen
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Oviqen. The app, its design and its name remain ours. Oviqen may offer paid plans later; we will tell you clearly before anything costs money, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it.
7. Updates
Oviqen updates itself. Sometimes an older version must be updated to keep using sign-in and other online features.
8. Ending
You can stop using Oviqen and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
9. No warranty
Oviqen is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Oviqen. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app when a change matters. Using Oviqen after that means you accept the new terms.
